Hi Everyone,
What a fantastic weekend in Canberra. We all arrived for a exercise session at the Rex hotel on Friday afternoon. We used the cardio equipment in the gym and made use of the unused leisure area. Dinner that night was in Kingston at La Dolsa Vita. We had everything from garlic bread to vegetarian risotto.
Day two started with breakfast in Kingston at the Silo bakery Where they made gorgeous sour dough bread. Training was the two bridges walk, Lake Burleigh Griffin. We were entertained by a recital from the carillon. Bec made use of the natural and man made terrain for exercises while Bill and Fergel played golf. The afternoon was spent at Questacon, National Art Gallery and National Library. Fun was had by all. That night dinner was in Manuka at Caphs where some had a delightful lasagna.
On day three we went to Caphs for breakfast. The ladies went to the Bus Depot Markets and the men, Bec and kids did the bridges walk. Training was held at a park where we did boxing, shuttle runs, skipping and run throughs. A quick coffee and then home as the rain fell. It was a great weekend. Well done to all who participated.
Love Bec xx
