Hi Everyone,
Congratulations on your efforts today. Everyone did their best and you couldn't ask for more then that. I'm sure there will be some great results. Keep on checking their web site for your times www.pub2pub.com.au. We had a delightful lunch after the race at the Deck in Dee Why. It is always nice to chat about the race over a few well deserved wedges.
Rest over the next 24 hours. Make sue you have carbohydrates to refuel your muscles, water to rehydrate and relaxation and sleep to rest your muscles.
Training will be on next Sunday at West Pymble Bicentennial Park, Loftberg Rd @ 8.30am. We are training for the Sydney Running Festivals 9km Bridge run. It is a sensational run and I recommend you register for it http://www.sydneymarathon.org/.
Please bring a mat or towel to training because we will be doing some ab work. The main program will be walking/ running like usual.
Keep up the FANTASTIC work everyone. If you can train twice during the week that would help your fitness. If you need any training ideas send me an email www.fitintrimepersonaltraining.com. Always happy to give advice.
See you at training on Sunday if not before.
Love From

City 2 Surf
Hi Everyone,
City 2 Surf is on Saturday 10th August.
Tips for those that are running:
The night before the night before: Have a good nights sleep on the Friday night because on the Saturday night you may be nervous and find it hard to sleep.
Saturday night: Have a balanced meal with plenty of Carbohydrates eg: pasta, rice, potatoes. This will give you stored energy for the race.
Sunday: Bring a warm jacket that you can either tie around your waist or dispose of before the race. Wear comfortable well worn joggers and your Fit In Time singlet top
Food/Water: You may want to carry a muslie bar with you to give you energy while walking. There will be drink stations along the way but if you prefer bring a bottle to carry with you.
Race day arrangements:
Before the race: Meet at Gordon station at 7.20am to catch 7.29am train to Town Hall or meet us at the water fountain in Hyde Park at 8.10am.
Warm up: Hyde Park
After the race: We will meet with the Can Too group after the race. They will be bright ORANGE and will be at the south end of the beach on the grass. If you get lost call me on my mobile 0402 904 606.
Getting home: We are planning on leaving Bill's car at Tamarrama the night before so we have transport home. You may want to arrange to leave a car a Tamarrama too because there will be limited spaces in Bondi. Margaret-Anne will also be picked up after the event so you may want to contact her to arrange a lift home 0412 175 006. There are buses but the lines are always huge and take for ever to get home.
Coffee/breakfast: We will find a place near by probably Bronte for breakfast after the race.
Please RSVP to email so I know who will be meeting us at Gordon station at 7.20am. fitintimepersonaltraining@gmail.com
Regards,
Bec
